Disclosures regarding Programs Leading to Licensure and/or Certification
LSUA is committed to providing full and accurate information to students who are enrolled or considering enrolling in programs that lead to professional licensure and/or certification. This commitment on the part of the university extends both face-to-face and distance education students.
Specifically, the university will provide information that will allow a current or prospective student to determine whether a program designed to lead to professional licensure and/or certification aligns with licensure/certification requirements in the state in which he or she intends to work.
This information will be provided on this webpage and wll be reviewed and updated on a regular basis to reflect any changes in either program requirements or state licensure/certification requirements.
The information will be availablle to all professional staff and faculty members charged with advising both current and prospective students about programs offered by the university. Students currently enrolled in a program leading to professional licensure and/or certification who inform the university that they intend to relocate to another state will receive assistance in determining whether the requirements of the program in which they are enrolled align with the licensing/certification requirements of their new state.
The Office of Academic Affairs, in conjunction with the university’s academic department chairs, will be responsible for maintaining current information about licensing/certification requirements and the alignment of its professional programs with those requirements.
