This course introduces select health and illness concepts while building upon prior knowledge in the development of clinical judgment and critical thinking behaviors of the professional nurse.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C” or higher in NURS 1032 , BIOL 1162 , and ENGL 1002 ; and in NURS 1019  or NURS 1030 .
Corequisite(s): NURS 1040  and NURS 1042
