BUSN 4425 - International Transportation and Logistics Management Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Laboratory Hours: 0 A multidisciplinary approach to the principles and practices of transportation and its role in the distribution process. Emphasis on the physical transportation systems involved in the United States as well as on global distribution systems. Carrier responsibilities and services, freight classifications, rates, tariffs, public policy, and regulations, logistical geography, and the development of skills to solve transportation problems and issues will be examined.
