BIOL 2201 - Introductory Statistics for Biological Sciences Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Laboratory Hours: 0 Application of statistical methods to problems in the biological sciences. Covers populations and samples, descriptive statistics, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing with one and two samples, one-factor analysis of variance, simple linear regression, and chi-square tests. Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C” or higher in MATH 1021 and BIOL 1202 .
