NURS 3005 - End-of-Life Nursing Care

Presents content related to end-of-life nursing care using the educational program designed by City of Hope National Medical Center and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing for the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) Project. Focus is on palliative nursing care; ethical/legal issues; communication; cultural considerations; pain and symptom management; and loss, grief, and bereavement. Offered as needed.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C” or higher in NURS 1020  or an unencumbered RN license.
