BIOL 4255 - Limnology Credits: 4 Lecture Hours: 3 Laboratory Hours: 3 The study of the structure and function of freshwater systems such as lakes, ponds, rivers, and streams. Physical and chemical properties of freshwater habitats will be explored, along with their biotic composition and their productivity. Water use and the effects of human impact on these habits will also be considered. Offered as needed.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 2030 or BIOL 1202 , CHEM 1302 , and STAT 2011; or permission of department chair.
