Application of statistical methods to problems in the biological sciences.  Covers populations and samples, descriptive statistics, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing with one and two samples, one-factor analysis of variance, simple linear regression, and chi-square tests. Both parametric and non-parametric methods will be included.   Offered FA, SP

Prerequisite(s): A grade of  “C” or higher in MATH 1021  and BIOL 1202 .
