An introduction to biological principles including the scientific process, cellular structure, cellular metabolism, cellular communication, genetics and viruses. Note: only one of the following three courses can be used to meet a degree’s requirements: BIOL 1201, BIOL 1101, and BIOL 1001. Offered FA, SP.

Prerequisite(s): Eligibility for ENGL 1001  and MATH 1021 . Completion of all developmental courses is recommended.
