CVTE 3008 - Cardiovascular Pharmacology

An introduction to the concepts of drug classification, pharmacokinetics, delivery systems, dosage, and drug interactions for medications administered during cardiovascular procedures. Exploration of the indications, contraindications, and the effect on the cardiovascular system and cardiac patients.  Offered SP.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C” or higher in CVTE 3003 .
Corequisite(s): CVTE 3004  and CVTE 3006
