HIST 3999 - Public History Internship Credits: 1-3 Lecture Hours: 0 Laboratory Hours: Min 5 per Hour
Student experiential learning activity in public history. Students will develop relevant public history skills, gain direct experience, and apply public history principles under faculty and external coordinator supervision. A structured program of supervised on or off-campus experience. The student must work at least 5 hours per week for each hour of academic credit awarded (based on a 15-week semester, this equates to 75 work hours per hour of academic credit awarded). May be taken for a maximum of 12 credit hours.

Prerequisite(s): Classification as junior or senior and permission of the History faculty.
