CYBR 4991 - Cybersecurity Internship

Laboratory Hours: 15
Structured and supervised work experience allowing those pursuing a concentration or certificate in cybersecurity to apply concepts learned in their coursework.  Students must keep a journal describing their work activities and hours worked; meet periodically with their instructor; read pertinent literature assigned by the instructor; and submit a final written assignment describing the learning value of their internship. May be repeated for a maximum of nine hours of credit if the internship experiences change. Offered FA, SP.

Prerequisite(s): A grade “C” or higher in nine hours of CSCI or CYBR coursework; and permission of the instructor.
