BIOL 4902 - Biological Research II

Continuation of BIOL 4901. Course sequence is designed as a culminating individual research experience in which the student will carry out an independent research project under the supervision of a faculty mentor. Students will be required to present their two-semester research experience as an oral presentation and to complete a senior “thesis.” Students will be expected to submit their work for presentation as a poster or oral presentation at a local, regional, national or international conference and to prepare a manuscript for submission for publication. Offered as needed.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of BIOL 4901 with a “C” or higher and approval of department chair and instructor.
