MATH 1029 - Contemporary Mathematics Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Laboratory Hours: 0 A survey of practical mathematics for non-science majors. Topics can be chosen from–but are not limited to –sets, logic, number systems, number theory, geometry, finance, graph theory, voting, and mathematics history. Offered as needed.
Prerequisite(s): ACT math score of 19 or higher or a “C” or better in MATH 0092 or MATH 1021 . Fulfills General Education Requirements.
