MATH 1201 - Number Sense and Open-Ended Problem Solving Credits: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Laboratory Hours: 0 Primarily for students interested in education. Cardinality and integers; decimal representation and the number line; exploratory data analysis; number sense; open-ended problem solving strategies; and written communication of mathematics. A grade of “C” or higher is required of education majors and minors. Offered FA and as needed.
Prerequisite(s): a grade of “C” or higher in MATH 1021 .
