NURS 2022 - Pharmacology III Credits: 1 Lecture Hours: 1 Laboratory Hours: 0 This course build on concepts related to pharmacology and dosage and calculation presented in 1042. Students will explore the nurses’ role in administration of complex drug classifications. The nursing process will be utilized as a framework to examine the following drug classifications: drugs for pituitary and adrenal Disorders, thyroid Medications, antimicrobials, ADHD medications, fertility drugs, birth control, hormones, anti-anxiety drugs, sedatives, hypnotics, antidepressants, anesthetics. Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C” or higher in NURS 1040 , NURS 1042 , MATH 2011 , and PSYC 2070 . Corequisite(s): NURS 2020 and NURS 2021
