BIOL 1101 - Biology for Science Majors I

An introduction to biological principles including the scientific process, cellular structure, cellular metabolism, cellular communication, genetics, and viruses. Note: only one of the following three courses can be used to meet a degree’s requirements: BIOL 1101, BIOL 1201 , and BIOL 1001  . Offered Fall, Spring, Summer

Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C” or higher in ENGL 1001  and in MATH 1021 ; or eligibility to take ENGL 1001  and MATH 1021  without their corequisitie supplements as specified in the placement section of the catalog.
